Decided to redo an old picture ( [link] ), and participate in the archive contest at TLKFAA. Two birds with one stone. :3

I did change some things though... because I thought the faded-gray bg added to the effect I wanted.

And yes, Simba doesn't really look much older here... even with my vain attempt at bags and crooked wiskers as well as a wicked mane. I think I was too worried about him not looking like Simba so I didn't take it far enough.... I'll probably play around with this idea some more. I like the idea of them as geezers.

It's problematic because lions don't really get to look old... most of them die before getting old

When dogs age they usually get white fur around their muzzle, sometimes they get little tumors/moles... I wonder if Lions do the same?

Simba doesn't have to look geezer-ish. You've captured Simba aging very nicely. Maybe have some of his mane fall out... ^^
